Unictron offers a broad range of multilayer piezoelectric actuators in chip and stack form factors, meeting the requirements of a wide range of precision control and sensing applications.

Discrete piezo stack actuators are assembled by stacking multiple piezo chips face-to-face and bonding them using epoxy resin with glass beads. Compared with a single chip actuator, these stack actuators provide a substantially increased free stroke while maintaining sub-millisecond response and low drive voltages.

• Both mounting faces are fitted with ceramic end caps. One end is supplied with a flat end cap, while the opposite end can be configured with either a flat or a hemispherical end cap.
• Drive voltage range: 0 to 75 V, 0 to 100 V, or 0 to 150 V
• Free stroke range: 5.2 µm to 100 µm
• Each stack consists of multiple piezoelectric ceramic chips rated for 75 V, 100 V, or 150 V
• Suitable for open-loop positioning applications
• Pre-attached lead wires (approximately 75 mm) for easy system integration
• Flat and hemispherical ceramic end caps available separately
