Sensor and Test is a leading exhibition for sensor, measurement and testing technologies.
Unictron will present a wide range of sensor products, including ultrasonic sensors, transducers as well as antennas such as Ultra Wide Band (UWB).
Ultrasound is using mechanical vibrations (sound) while UWB antennas are using electromagnetic field. Both technologies are available for sensing the distance to the objects.
Common examples of applications with ultrasonic transducers are: level meters, flow meters, anemometers, dual feed detection systems, web edge position controls. Unictron will showcase also a dual frequency air transducer which offers precise measurements for both short and long distances.
Ultra Wide Band antennas furthermore allow for sensing the angle of arrival, increasing security of automobiles’ locking/unlocking systems. UWB is used also in Child Presence Detectors or automated trunk opening.
