Unictron acquired Sanav

ON July 12, Unictron announced that it acquired 100% of  San Jose Technology, Inc. (SANAV), a privately-held Taiwanese GPS and GNSS component manufacturer specializing in high-performance antennas.

With more than 90 employees, SANAV has been in the antenna business for over 25 years and has built a reputation on its product line including internal antennas, external antenna modules, trackers, and receivers for a variety of applications. Combining the technology and strengths of Unictron & SANAV will enable the development of new and exciting wireless communications solutions for global customers. “Our planned acquisition of SANAV recognizes the growing importance of external antennas, trackers & receivers in the 5G arena,” said Andy Su, Chairman of Unictron Technologies. “This capability, together with Unictron’s existing competencies in piezo materials will enable us to expand our reach in the electronics business. We plan to continue fully supporting existing SANAV customers and partners.”
