There are several technical terms when talking about specific types of antennas. By design there is PIFA (Planar Inverted F Antenna), Monopole Antenna, Dipole Antenna, etc.

Unictron’s most powerful antennas are based on loop type antenna design with tuning elements. Such design provides unified layout for one antenna to be used on all devices. This saves a lot of time in new RF product development as the antenna doesn’t need to be design again and again like we see it with printed antennas (PCB antennas) embedded in wireless devices.

These unique features resulted in new antenna category which is now officially called TELA (trade mark). TELA stands for Tuning Element Loop Antenna.

Unictron’s TELA antennas are usually only 3.2 mm long and can be used for WiFi, Bluetooth (including BLE and Bluetooth5), GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, ISM, 868MHz, 915MHz and so on.

TELA antennas can be easily obtained through Arrow or Digikey.
