With the rapid development and widespread adoption of information technology, enterprises face increasing information security threats and risks. To safeguard corporate information security, the government has enacted the “Cybersecurity Act,” which requires companies to establish information security management systems and implement appropriate technical and managerial measures to protect information security.

In this context, an increasing number of companies are choosing to adopt the ISO 27001 (ISMS) framework to establish an effective information security management system (ISMS) in order to address information security threats and risks. However, for many enterprises, implementing the ISO 27001 (ISMS) framework is not an easy task; it requires systematic planning, implementation, and verification.

Unictron Technologies Corporation (Unictron) obtained international certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS) on March 12, 2024. Currently, the company continues to invest in information security resources and actively seeks self-improvement. Recently, it was verified by the Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF) certification body and successfully passed the latest version of ISO 27001:2022 for information security management systems. The certification ceremony was held at Unictron’s Longtan headquarters on March 28, 2024, where Vice Chairman Lee Ruirong received the certificate personally from Mr. Chen Zhenyu, CEO of Asia Assurance International Verification Co., Ltd..

Having achieved ISO 27001:2022 international certification, Unictron is confident about its enhanced information security capabilities and establishing a comprehensive information security management mechanism. This includes aspects such as information security policies, risk management, information security controls, and incident management. These measures effectively strengthen Unictron’s information security capabilities, reduce the risk of cyber attacks and data breaches, and enhance the company’s information security reputation and competitiveness.

ISO 27001:2022 is globally recognized as a standard for information security management. Implementing an ISMS can enhance a company’s credibility and trustworthiness. Additionally, because more enterprises and organizations require their suppliers to implement ISMS, adopting an ISMS can also enhance Unictron’s competitiveness in the market.
