While IR uses electromagnetic waves, ultrasound works on mechanical vibrations (sound), therefore ultrasonic sensors are ideal for detecting transparent objects, such as glass.
Furthermore, we will present Ultrasonic sensors suitable for flow meters, including Hydrogen flowmeters, anemometers, edge position control (EPC), level detection and others.
