These actuators convert electrical energy into highly controllable mechanical displacement and are well suited for nano- and micro-positioning applications requiring rapid and accurate positional changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The insulation and electrode termination concept of co-fired piezo actuators differs from that of discrete piezo stacked actuators.
